The BBSchool adheres to the Cambridge Primary / Secondary 1 International Program for the curricular subject of MATHS, ENGLISH and SCIENCE.
These programs represent a unique opportunity for the progressive development of understanding, ensuring flexibility and almost total compatibility with the guidelines of the Italian Ministerial program.
CHILDREN GROW IN A CONTEXT THAT
TURNS TO FACE THE WORLD
Every corner of our school has been architecturally designed to welcome and stimulate students of all ages in an atmosphere that is able to integrate different methodologies as well as different cultures. The rooms and spaces are flexible teaching spaces.
The education programme is enhanced by workshops lead by experts both within the school and from outside.
Welcome to the Bilingual British School
Our project stems from a desire to unite Italian culture and the English language, which is by now a must in the modern world. Our challenge is to create international programmes and teaching methods which are based on the theory that, if we start learning as children, languages can be absorbed in a way that is both natural and fun.
The Bilingual British School is a modern school where learning starts from play and spreads out over a multi-disciplinary education. At our school, scientific and humanistic subjects work together with lessons in Music, Art and Drama as well as different kinds of sport, to provide a balanced development for each of our children.
We firmly believe that environment also plays a key role in education and for us it is of major importance that the Bilingual British School offers a welcome and stimulating place to come to every day. The school is immersed in nature, with 2 large gardens equipped with equipment that encourage open air activities. We have a large open area dedicated to teaching activities for our smallest children, large, bright classrooms and innovative lab areas.
After 25 years of a love of teaching, and having been fortunate enough to see some of the most important schools and Universities around the world, I have been able to set up an educational establishment of excellence. It certainly is a demanding educational journey for our pupils but also a wholly satisfying one. In a nutshell: my dream is to see pupils of the Bilingual British School grow to be well balanced and independent women and men, proud of who they are and able to face any challenge they meet in a new world, wherever they may be.
