TO BE OR NOT TO BE?
Acting teaches us to listen to one another, to move in a space, to control our bodies and to express our innermost feelings. These are all essential to the development of a child as an individual.
Theatre is an ancient art developed to fill our need to tell stories whether verbally or physically. Even the shyest child learns to express him/herself and develop their own sense of self-esteem. Our drama teachers Michele Marinini and Tiziano Ferrari accompany the children though this journey of discovery and self knowledge, where listening to others, managing their personal space, controlling their bodies and personal expression will be fundamental pillars of this workshop.
Music, singing and acting play a fundamental role in the educational philosophy of the Bilingual British School.
Each year the work the children have done in both workshops is shown in a musical performed for parents.
