At the end of Middle School, every Italian family chooses a high school. BBS is the only school in Bergamo where that choice is between an Italian high school and an international one, both its own:
- A full scientific liceo, with more than 45% of subjects taught in English

- Ends in the Maturità, Italy’s state diploma, with an international English certification on the way

A historic villa for the youngest, a modern campus for the rest.
School buses serve the Bergamo, Brescia and Milan areas; the canteen at both campuses cooks with organic, zero-km ingredients; after-school clubs run from music to judo, and the summer ends with a camp entirely in English at the historic villa.
Every child plays the violin, and the Christmas show sells out in two hours.
The arts at BBS are famous in Bergamo, and the proof is measurable: tickets for the Christmas show run out within two hours, with an audience well beyond the school’s families. Every child starts the violin at eight and the instrument grows with them; the choir starts in Primary; the recording studio waits in the Bergamo campus.
Sport is taught with the same seriousness from the first years, mostly in the open air, with a specialist PE teacher from Primary and swimming and skiing in the timetable. And at fourteen, for the ones who want more, sport becomes a school of its own: the Liceo Sportivo above.
